Category - e Fuels
eFuels, also known as electrofuels, are synthetic fuels produced by using renewable electricity to convert CO₂ (captured from atmosphere through Carbon capture methods) and Green hydrogen (H₂) into liquid or gaseous fuels. They are designed to be carbon-neutral, meaning that the carbon dioxide (CO2) released when they are burned is approximately equal to the amount of CO2 captured during their production. They are designed to be drop-in replacements for fossil fuels in existing engines.
